The aim this year is for the nation to show off about buying Fairtrade which offers 7.5 million people in the developing world a more secure future. Extraverts will no doubt had no problem! 5 Easy ways to get involved:
- Tell everyone about your event on our calendar
- Get schools and faith groups in your area ready to show off this Fortnight
- Order some eye-catching materials for your event from our e-shop
- Show off your label in your community
- Order your bunting and help our record-breaking attempt
Beyond Bamboo’s 5 tips are:
1. Post a link about Fairtrade Fortnight on your Facebook update – shout about it and get your friends and family involved
2. Challenge your friends to buy a basket of Fairtrade products during Fairtrade week and get them hooked on the great taste and feel good factor
3. Upload a Twibbon to your Twitter picture to show your support, just click here
4. Send a topical tweet a day about Fairtrade Fornight or products to raise awareness amongst your followers
5. Write a blog post about a Fairtrade product you love and why to encourage others to convert
